Oscillara
by Twisty Maurice: Therese Gietler & Misty Post
MAP #1 Installation
Oscillara shimmers with illusion, a hexagonal lattice of pipes that seem to open into infinity. Step closer and the truth reveals itself—mirrors turn each hollow cell into a doorway of multiplied light, bending depth and perspective. Patterns surge and dissolve in waves of moiré, blooming across the surface like living geometry. What appears solid becomes liquid; what feels distant folds back into the self. The piece watches as much as it is watched, playful and oddly comforting. Born from rescued materials, Oscillara transforms the overlooked into a luminous architecture of wonder and connection.
Light of Tessilation
by Omar Akkari
MAP #2 Installation
Omar Akkari is an artisan and licensed Landscape Architect with a background in city planning and environmental science. Find more of his work by searching “Phoenician Design Studio”. Each shape was paired with matching symmetry. The 3 and 6 sided patterns are historical, and the 4 and 5 sided patterns were created by the artist. Triangular Pattern: Nasrid Dynasty period (1230 -1492) in Granada, Spain. Found as a wood panel. Hexagonal pattern: Seljuk Sultanate of Rum (1230-35). Found as a stone ornament in the courtyard portal of the Seri Han Mosque near Avanos, Türkiye.

Crystal Math
by Foxlight Labs
MAP #6 Interactive Installation
‘Crystal Math’ is an interactive infinity-mirror light art sculpture, featuring three enormous crystals of enormous size, arranged in a cluster and mounted to a base. Inspired by the natural crystal forms in nature, the mirror geometry produces a mesmerizing pattern of light and dark, with lights appearing and disappearing as attendees circle the piece. Beneath the cluster, a lidar scanner will monitor the number and position of onlookers, using this to inform the ever changing color patterns within.
UnityHenge

MAP #7 Installation
Lennée Reid is a Creole, queer, pagan, neurodiverse, disabled, internationally touring grand slam winning performance poet, award winning multimedia artist, author, and sound healer based in Olympia, Washington. UnityHenge is a transformative, blacklight art installation I am creating to amplify voices often silenced. Radiant Summer Flowers
by Amaranta Ibarra-Sandys
MAP #9 Live Black Light Painting
My artistic practice weaves through multidisciplinary mediums such as: acrylics, clay vessels, watercolors and found objects, portraying daydreaming landscapes, whimsical zoo-morphed creatures, skeletons and day to day working people. My cultural art collection depicts ancient rituals, foods and language, while at the same time blending my experience with elements of the Pacific Northwest: rain, trees and mountains. I support emerging artists and use my platform to raise awareness and advocate for those without a voice. The aim is to encourage individuals of all ages to pursue time, space, and healing through engagement with the arts.
Cell Form Abstracts
by Duane Georges
MAP #10 Installation
Abstract forms are fabricated from upcycled honeycomb packing material. Layers of paint transform brown paper into solid organic shapes for light to play in!
Wish (vol 1)
by Foxlight Labs
MAP #11 Interactive Installation
Wish is an illuminated, interactive sculpture of a dandelion in various states of development, Critically we hope to have the piece return again in the future to the same location (vol 2), having undergone a dramatic transformation from flower to seed. This year, the flower will be in bloom, with yellow light up petals which retract based on the behavior of observers. When it returns, it will have gone to seed, with removable light up seed florets. It is built a 7 ft metal stem which is attached to a large metal baseplate on the ground. Surrounding the stem, easily recognizable sawtooth leaves extend out and reach the ground around the piece. On the flower, the petals’ positions are adjustable via a motor which allows the flower to open and close in hypnotizing radial patterns based on the viewer’s actions. The stem is fitted with an infrared sensor allowing observers to impact the light patterns and mechanical effects via their behavior around the piece.

Hazama “in-between”
by Shinjiro Tanaka
MAP #13 Interactive Installation
Hazama (“in-between”) is an interactive projection that seeks to create connection in an age of division. By blending analog and digital elements—using audio-reactive software, cameras, and iPads—the work constantly shifts and evolves through audience participation. Live images of passersby are captured and integrated, turning the piece into a dialogue between artwork and community. Known for exploring motifs of points and lines across murals, installations, and performances, Tokyo–New York based artist Shinjiro Tanaka continues this diversity through Hazama, transforming simple forms into shared experiences that invite reflection and connection.

Salish See
by Shelby Gonzalez x Adam Richter
MAP #17 Installation
“Salish See” offers a dreamlike encounter with sea creatures of the Pacific Northwest. This experiential installation by artist Shelby Gonzalez and musician Adam Richter combines a custom soundtrack with an imposing, intriguing artifact. As viewers approach the installation—a watery portal cradled by a gnarled coral-like frame—they are enveloped in an original soundscape and feel the strangely lifelike gazes of an array of undersea creatures, including an orca, salmon, seal, and giant Pacific octopus. The music enhances a sense of gentle surreality with an auditory undercurrent of instruments, effects, and “wild sounds” sampled at coastal areas in the Salish Sea region.
Gadgets For Kids
by Reg Meisler
MAP #18 Interactive Installation
Gadgets For Kids is a series of interactive musical Folk Art instruments for children to explore. It’s a sound playground containing more than one hundred different percussion and sound-effect items collected from diverse cultures and combined with original sonic and decorative features that resemble something Dr. Seuss or Willy Wonka might create. It’s a curiosity tickling experience that offers children the opportunity to exercise their creativity in a family-friendly, all-inclusive, self-directed, non-competitive, environment. Each of these whimsical creations is lit with color changing LEDs that turns this collection of interactive contraptions into a dazzling light show for after dark fun.

Ecological Interventions: Salmon Recov-IVY
by Fishy TransActions (Oliver Whong and Alex Heindel)
MAP #20 Installation
Our salmon lantern highlights the connection between upland forest health and salmon recovery while pushing back on the personification of invasive species as an ‘intruding enemy’. In Washington, English Ivy is a listed noxious weed that degrades green spaces and decreases forest health, but in its native context it plays important medicinal, symbolic, and practical roles. By using Ivy as a raw material we can increase native forest health through its removal while celebrating its ethnobotanical uses and history.
